Having waited many weeks for these beautiful papers, I find I'm not certain that I'll use all of them. I may change my mind, but for the moment, these are my choices.
The bathroom. This is definite. I think this is perfect.
The hall. I've chosen something very different for me, but I like the purple very much. I'm not sure which way round the wallpaper should go, however. What do you think?
This is for the kitchen. I love the red! The larger sheild pattern behind me will be the border at the top of the room. I've chosen a marble floor as I felt black and white was too modern.
The dining room, also definite.
The shields will have to be cute out and put around the top of the room.
I'm still waiting on some yellow and rust striped wallpaper for the other walls.
Dance like an Egyptian! Sorry, but the dance came over me.
So back to the task in hand. These I am not sure about now that I have everything together. This was meant for my lounge, but the zebra rug doesn't match. It's too grey.
Another choice that I'm unsure of. The bird design was meant for my bedroom, but it is too red, so I teamed it with this gold that was meant for my workroom. I am still pondering what to do.
Most of the work is planning! I find my head is so full, but that's a good thing. It keeps me occupied.
The Russian-born painter Romain de Tirtoff, who called himself Erté after the French pronunciation of his initials, was one of the foremost fashion and stage designers of the early twentieth century. From the sensational silver lamé costume, complete with pearl wings and ebony-plumed cap, that he wore to a ball in 1914, to his magical and elegant designs for the Broadway musical Stardust in 1988, Erté pursued his chosen career with unflagging zest and creativity for almost 80 years. On his death in 1990, he was hailed as the "prince of the music hall" and "a mirror of fashion for 75 years".
His work is my inspiration. I have been considering making some these into wall panels in my workroom.
This might look nice in my bedroom though it is more blue than turquoise.
This is one of my favourites. It is nice to have a companion.

This would make a nice screen. I want to make a laquered screen for the workroom. After all, clients like to have privacy while trying on garments and the mess of materials could be hidden behind it when I'm seeing a new client. The room will have a settee and chair, as shown in my previous entry, so we may discuss designs in comfort. That is why I have bought the beautiful gold leaf teaset. My clients are special and I feel it is my duty to provide the best for their comfort.
This is the inspiration for the colours in my workroom. When I saw the curtains by Celestial Magic, this is what they reminded me of.
The elegance and intricate design of this work brings joy to my heart.

Such BeautyMost Papers! I so Loves all your ideas! I had the computer upside down trying to figure out which way I liked the blue turban like wall paper, its turbanlike the way it is, and sort of victory like when its upside down with the diamonds atop. Can you do a pic both ways?
